Your Role:
The Head of Cybersecurity Projects and Consulting (P&C) sits within our Cloud Infrastructure Services within Australia & New Zealand. They work closely with the regional Cybersecurity country leadership, global Cybersecurity portfolio and GTM teams, Capgemini sales and solutioning, and leaders from other business units to build and grow cyber P&C practice, increase opportunities and thereby maximize revenue for the Cybersecurity portfolio.
They are accountable for the overall performance of Cyber P&C within the region including overseeing delivery, financial performance and meeting business objectives. Based either out of Sydney or Melbourne, this leader is visible in the market, being a role model for the Cybersecurity practitioners across Capgemini.
Key Accountabilities:
Business Planning
- Shape and drive the Cybersecurity Projects & Consulting business plan in collaboration with CIS country leadership, ensuring full alignment with Capgemini’s global cyber portfolio, local market priorities, and industry consumption trends.
- Contribute to the wider CIS country business plan with a clear focus on revenue growth, margin improvement, and portfolio alignment.
- Translate strategic objectives into actionable initiatives that strengthen competitive positioning, particularly in AI‑led transformation programs, secure‑by‑design digitalisation, IAM, Exposure and attack surface management, MDR, OT security, PQC and Cyber‑AI risk advisory.
Cybersecurity delivery
- Provide end‑to‑end delivery leadership for Cybersecurity projects and consulting engagements across the region, ensuring financial performance, operational excellence, quality delivery, and client satisfaction.
- Drive efficiency and standardisation across the project and consulting delivery lifecycle, ensuring engagement governance, methodology adoption, and delivery maturity.
- Lead escalation management, providing hands‑on oversight where required to ensure swift resolution, protect client relationships, and maintain delivery excellence.
- Drive efficiency, speed, and standardisation across the delivery lifecycle using AI automation, reusable AI assets, and Capgemini‑developed accelerators for assessment, testing, reporting, analytics, and design.
- Embed AI‑supported delivery methods—AI‑driven threat modelling, automated compliance mapping, intelligent risk scoring, and AI‑assisted documentation—to improve engagement throughput and margin.
Business Development
- Partner with the regional Cybersecurity GTM lead to actively support sales pursuits for Cybersecurity project and consulting engagements.
- Develop and execute a structured plan to grow the Cybersecurity footprint across priority industries and accounts, with a focus on profitable, scalable engagements.
- Work closely with Capgemini sales and solution teams to position AI‑augmented Cyber offerings, including AI threat detection, automated security operations, secure GenAI adoption, and AI governance/risk frameworks.
Management and Reporting
- Lead, manage, and develop the Cybersecurity Projects & Consulting team, ensuring the right mix of capabilities, certifications, and skills aligned with Capgemini’s Cyber portfolio and market demand.
- Oversee financial and operational reporting for the practice, controlling direct and indirect costs, tracking profitability, and ensuring accurate forecasting and pipeline visibility.
- Implement effective people leadership practices: competency development, performance management, coaching and mentorship, role clarity, and structured career pathways.
Your Profile:
The ideal profile will be a professional who leads from the front, understands the region as well as the Cybersecurity portfolio. A natural networker and leader of people, this person will also be able to cope with ambiguity and thrive in a fast-paced growth environment. Maintaining strong links with different stakeholders in Europe, India and in other geographies is critical. A commercial and robust approach will ensure that the multi-client growth agenda is met.
