Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead projects focused on network automation for a telco service provider. This role involves managing compliance-driven initiatives, driving adoption of new network automation capabilities, and delivering greenfield solutions for network abstraction layers within agreed timelines and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Delivery:
- Plan, execute, and manage network automation projects from initiation to closure.
- Ensure delivery within scope, time, and cost constraints.
- Track and report project progress, milestones, risks, and financials to stakeholders.
Compliance Management:
- Drive projects that meet regulatory, security, and audit requirements.
- Maintain documentation and ensure adherence to compliance standards.
- Greenfield Development & Adoption:
- Coordinate the development of new network abstraction capabilities.
- Drive adoption of new network automation capabilities across teams and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to implement automation frameworks.
- Finance & Resource Management:
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
- Allocate and optimize resources to ensure successful delivery.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and senior stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates on progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Risk & Issue Management:
- Identify potential risks early and implement mitigation plans.
- Ensure timely resolution of project issues.
Primary Skills
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in telecom or network automation projects.
- Strong understanding of network automation and OSS/BSS systems.
- Experience managing compliance-focused projects (e.g., regulatory, security).
- Exposure to greenfield development for network abstraction and automation platforms.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
