Your Role:
- Analyze user requirements and develop test cases accordingly
- Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open-source tools
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs in the system
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Work with the development team to ensure quality during the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Conduct post-release and post-implementation testing
- Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software
- Analyze the performance of the application under different conditions and document observations
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
- Contribute to the design and implementation of best practices and standards in automation testing
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure the resolution of system issues
Your Profile:
- 4.5 to 9 years experience in Automation Testing.
- Develop and automate tests for software validation.
- Establish test strategies and manual or automated test suites.
- Understand the QA process and suggest improvements.
- Investigate, report, track, and propose fixes for bugs.
- Participate in software design reviews and provide input on functional requirements and potential problems.
- Develop, document and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like the test data, data validation and automated scripts.
- Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements.
- Work collaboratively with the development team to understand project objectives, gather automation requirements, design automated tests, troubleshoot issues, and implement scalable test automation solutions.
