Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to support and enhance Oracle Fusion Cloud Supply Chain and Procurement, the SaaS platform that powers the client's enterprise-wide supply chain management and procurement application. Key responsibilities include:

Industry and Domain Expertise

  • Contribute effectively based on prior experience in Tier 1-level engagements within the North American telecommunications industry.
  • Apply understanding of data governance concepts to support business and project requirements.
  • Maintain a strategic perspective and the ability to see the big picture across initiatives.

Stakeholder and Team Collaboration

  • Build strong relationships and manage stakeholders with professionalism and clarity.
  • Effectively manage and resolve conflicts to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Support development teams by providing input for detailed design documentation.
  • Assist business teams throughout the reporting lifecycle, including requirements solicitation, formalization, mock documentation, development, testing, and delivery.

Project and Risk Management

  • Manage project priorities and ensure alignment with evolving business needs.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to maintain delivery quality.
  • Provide recommendations for the approval of QE Test Strategy Plans and corresponding test lists.

Delivery & Methodology

  • Ensure successful project delivery in alignment with expectations and established processes.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with DevOps methodology to support continuous integration and deployment practices.

Planning & Forecasting

  • Provide accurate effort estimates and consistently meet forecasted timelines.

Process & System Knowledge

  • Maintain familiarity with client-specific processes and systems, including:
    • MR (Management Requests)
    • PS4SP (Project System for Strategic Planning)
    • Project lifecycle processes

What You'll Do

Application Support & Monitoring

  • Daily Batch process monitoring (including week-end and holidays) – inbound and outbound integrations for failure, warning, and integration files not processed as expected
  • Continuous monitoring of ESS & BIP reports scheduled and running to proactively identify long running, and stuck jobs
  • Performance monitoring and tuning of jobs within batch processing, and reports
  • Month End Support - Mock Month-end allocation run for PCM & EDM,
  • Month end and Year end close support
  • Log tickets with software vendors for product defects
  • Work with Cloud ops and desktop team for software and hardware issues
  • Enterprise access review and Disaster recovery submissions, and perform SOX controls and coordinate audit queries
  • Develop workaround and execute data patches for error reprocessing
  • Ability to scale up temporary workarounds to mitigate P1/2/3 issues

Vendor patch releases, and other product upgrades

  • Assess, Plan, IT test, Communicate to business, and Validate vendor patch releases (ERP & EPM – Quarterly cycle)
  • Oracle ADFDI & Smartview support and upgrades – Plan, validate and deploy
  • NPE support for regression defects for Oracle patching and upgrades

Minor Change Requests

  • Minor code fixes which require less than 5 mandays effort for analysis, Development & Unit testing
  • Project team support - FSD\TSD documentation review, production deployment, assessment clarifications, etc.
  • NPE support for regression defects for MR’s and projects

Environment management

  • Backup and environment refreshes for NPE instances, including ATP for ERM & non ERM instances
  • Database size monitoring, archival strategy, NAS storage management (applicable for Aptitude & Oracle ATP)
  • Coordinate Infra changes – OCI server patching, SSL certificates, etc.

Production deployment & Documentation

  • Configuration and code deployments for projects & MR's, including creating RFC for Production fixes
  • Documentation updates – Configuration documents, FSD/TSD and other technical documents

User Access Management

  • Access provisioning and deprovisioning, License control, etc.
  • Review changes to application roles
  • Deploy new application roles in Production

Service Management

  • Incident Management - weekly review/progress meeting with stakeholders
  • Quarterly Business Review (QBR) of support operations
  • Identification of continuous improvement opportunities
  • Reporting on ticket volume trends, team efficiency and throughput.
  • Monthly review of team capacity against ticket volume and workload to ascertain needs for capacity ramp up or ramp down

SLA Requirements
Critical inbound and outbound integrations are processed. Failures if any are quickly identified, and triaged

  • IT processes relevant to Finance Month close meet the expected timelines set by the business in the month-end calendar
  • Daily batch processing for EDM, PROJ & FIN application should complete by 9 am
  • Dataloads from ERP to FIN should happen every 15 mins
  • Month end jobs should be completed on schedule
  • Daily IFRS batch processing should complete by 8 am including file transfer to Oracle ERP GL
  • Critical business days for monitoring – Mid month & ME- 3 processing
  • Month-end processing and GL file completion at 11 am

What You'll Bring

  • Senior-level expertise across the Oracle ERP Supply Chain full stack, including Inventory (INV), Order Management (OM), Work in Process (WIP), Bill of Materials (BOM), and Warehouse Management (WMS/Logfire).
  • Strong knowledge of Integrated Planning modules such as Supply Planning, Demand Management, and Global Order Promising.
  • Hands-on experience supporting procurement processes including Purchase Requisitions (PR), Purchase Orders (PO), and Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA).
  • Technical proficiency with Visual Studio and configuration experience across Supply Chain and WMS modules.
  • Product Data Hub (PDH) expertise, including product configuration, workflow management, and enhancement development.
  • Ability to evaluate the impact of Oracle quarterly patch releases, plan remediation steps, and recommend adoption of new Oracle functionality.
  • Experience sponsoring and supporting Oracle Product Enhancement requests and managing day‑to‑day Oracle Service Requests (SRs).
  • Knowledge of Oracle Commerce and its integration with ERP Cloud for order creation, order updates, and order status tracking.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: CAD 93,000 - 162,000.

The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
