YOUR ROLE:
Estimate, define, and implement embedded software solutions for automotive Electronic Control Units (ECUs) and component projects, applying the ASPICE process throughout the full Software Development Life Cycle (Requirements Analysis, Architecture/Design, Implementation, and Testing).
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and integrate application-specific software components, including standard and third-party modules, for advanced automotive systems (e.g., Park Assist, ADAS, Instrument Clusters, 360 Camera Vision, Passive Entry/Start).
• Analyze software requirements and architecture; design and implement solutions in compliance with Automotive SPICE standards.
• Conduct bench, integration, and system testing; support module/unit testing and software validation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues at customer sites and provide technical support for field and production environments.
• Facilitate technical communication with customers and offshore teams, ensuring alignment on project goals and deliverables.
• Complete assigned project tasks on schedule, delivering high-quality software outputs as per project timelines.
• Participate in software design reviews, peer code reviews, and regular software release processes.
YOUR SKILLS:
- Strong experience in embedded software development using C or C++.
- Proficiency with GIT or similar version control tools.
- Experience with IBM Rational Doors for requirements management.
- Experience with AUTOSAR basic software (BSW) and application layer development.
- Experience with automotive network interfaces (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) and Unified Diagnostics Services
- Experience with AUTOSAR configuration tools (e.g., EB Tresos, Vector DaVinci) is a plus.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and reporting skills
Optional:
- Basic knowledge of embedded Linux, Yocto and POSIX
- QNX or Hypervisor
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Engineering (or related field).
