Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst with strong expertise in Independent Price Verification (IPV) to support our global banking and capital markets clients. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical capability, hands-on data skills, and deep domain understanding of IPV processes for trading book valuations.

Primary Skills

• Strong, hands-on experience in Independent Price Verification (IPV) processes.
• Good understanding of financial instruments, valuations, Greeks, curves, pricing models, and market data.
• Proficiency in data extraction, data querying, and data validation using SQL or similar tools.
• Experience with pricing tools or data providers: Bloomberg, Reuters, Markit, ICE, etc.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret market movements and pricing variations.
• Experience in automation or scripting (Python / VBA / SQL / Power BI) is desirable.
• Knowledge of Product Control, Valuation Control, Market Risk, or Finance functions in banking.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements around IPV (FRTB, IFRS 13, valuation adjustments).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or related field.
• Professional certifications (CFA, FRM, PRM) will be an advantage.
