About the job you’re considering:

Capgemini is seeking an test automation lead, experienced in TestNG, Java, Playwright, and RestAssured, to contribute to the development of next-generation web-based applications test automation solutions for a model-based systems engineering platforms in Aerospace domain. You’ll be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking team working on high-impact projects that drive innovation and excellence.

Your role:

  • Contribute in implementation of robust test automation frameworks in Model based systems engineering platforms.
  • Develop test scripts for complex test scenarios in model based systems
  • Drive process optimization initiatives to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness
  • Define and implement meaningful testing metrics and KPIs to measure quality and testing progress
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to test automation engineers
  • Evaluate and recommend testing tools and technologies to address specific testing needs
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for test automation frameworks and processes
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective testing strategies

Your skills and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 12+ years of experience in software testing with at least 10 years focused on test automation
  • Proficient in Java programming and TestNG framework
  • Proficient Selenium/Playwright for web automation and RestAssured for API testing
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle and testing methodologies
  • Experience integrating test automation with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
  • Knowledge of version control systems and issue tracking tools
  • Experience with test management tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Must have qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience in software testing
  • 10+ years of experience in Web test automation
  • 8+ Years experience with Java,TestNG, Selenium/Playwright

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in test automation in MBSE
  • Proficient in Java
  • Experience with AI, Agentic AI for software testing
  • Experience in visual test automatio
  • Experience in performance/security testing.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) is desirable.
Works in the area of Software Engineering, which encompasses the development, maintenance and optimization of software solutionsorapplications.1. Applies scientific methods to analyse and solve software engineering problems.2. Heorshe is responsible for the development and application of software engineering practice and knowledge, in research, design, development and maintenance.3. Hisorher work requires the exercise of original thought and judgement and the ability to supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers.4. The software engineer builds skills and expertise of hisorher software engineering discipline to reach standard software engineer skills expectations for the applicable role, as defined in Professional Communities.5. The software engineer collaborates and acts as team player with other software engineers and stakeholders.

At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $72,100.00 to $169,000.00. This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
