The Informatica Data Governance Solution Architect is responsible for designing and implementing enterprise-wide data governance and integration solutions using the Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) stack. This role ensures data quality, lineage, security, and compliance across multiple platforms, while enabling scalable and modern data architectures.

Technical oversight of DQ framework; Define DQ rules and thresholds; Code reviews; Coordinate with internal team on medallion layer; Resolve technical blockers

Solution Design & Architecture

Own end-to-end architecture for data integration and governance using Informatica tools (IDMC/IICS, PowerCenter, MDM/360, Data Quality, EDC/Axon).
Define reference architectures, integration patterns, and standards for batch, real-time, and API-driven data flows.
Design secure, scalable blueprints for data governance workflows, metadata management, and lineage tracking.

Governance & Compliance

Implement and manage Informatica Data Governance solutions including Data Catalog (EDC), Axon, Data Quality (IDQ), and glossary mapping.
Establish governance policies, standards, and best practices for data quality, metadata, and master data management.
Embed privacy and security controls (RBAC, encryption, SSO) into architecture.

Cloud Modernization

Drive migration from legacy platforms (e.g., PowerCenter) to IDMC/IICS and modern cloud ecosystems (Azure, AWS, GCP).
Integrate with cloud data warehouses/lakes (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Synapse).

Technical Leadership

Guide delivery teams through design reviews, performance tuning, and release planning.
Conduct architecture walkthroughs and provide technical mentorship.
Own non-functional requirements: reliability, performance, cost optimization, and observability.

Stakeholder Engagement

Collaborate with business, data governance, and privacy teams to align architecture with enterprise objectives.
Support RFP responses, demos, and technical workshops for internal and client stakeholders.
