Looking for Agile Application Architect to join us for a fulltime, role in Troy, MI

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Agile Application Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performing application architectures in an Agile environment. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, defining technical standards, and ensuring alignment with business objectives and enterprise architecture principles.

  • Define application architecture for enterprise and cloud-based solutions.

  • Ensure compliance with security, scalability, and performance standards.

  • Create architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and design patterns.

  • Work closely with Scrum teams to deliver incremental solutions.

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives).

  • Support continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices.

  • Provide guidance on technology stack selection and best practices.

  • Mentor development teams on architecture principles and coding standards.

  • Drive modernization initiatives (microservices, API-first design).

  • Design APIs and integration strategies for enterprise systems.

  • Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for application hosting and services.

  • Partner with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to align architecture with business needs.

  • Ensure technical feasibility and risk mitigation for new features.

Required Skills:

  • Experience: 8–12 years in application architecture and software development.

  • Strong knowledge of Java/.NET, microservices, REST APIs.

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

  • Familiarity with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Hands-on experience in Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe).
    Understanding of iterative development and continuous delivery.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Certifications: TOGAF, AWS/Azure Architect, SAFe Agile.

  • Experience in enterprise-scale digital transformation projects.
