Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled SD-WAN Solution Architect to lead the design, implementation, and delivery of SD-WAN solutions primarily within Proof of Concept (POC) environments.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in complex network architecture, multi-cloud environments, and network automation, with the ability to translate business needs into robust technical demonstrations and validated solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with customers, sales, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand challenges, and propose appropriate SD-WAN solutions.
• Design and implement SD-WAN solutions across multiple vendor platforms tailored to customer use cases.
• Build and execute Proof-of-Concepts (POCs), demos, and high-level design (HLD) workshops.
• Develop detailed High-Level and Low-Level Design documents, interface specifications, and service flow documentation.
• Create and manage Bill of Quantities (BoQ) and Bill of Materials (BoM).
• Drive implementation including third-party solution integrations and security policy deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including SMEs, Testing Engineers, and Automation Engineers throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Sign off on architectural design documentation, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Research new firmware releases and OEM capabilities to develop relevant use cases.
• Present technical solutions confidently to both internal stakeholders and external clients.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Deep knowledge of complex network environments, including experience with multi-OEM devices.
• Hands-on experience with SD-WAN, SASE and SSE technologies from multiple vendors (e.g., Cisco Viptela, VeloCloud, Aruba SD-WAN, Palo alto SD-WAN, Prisma, Zscaler, Meraki etc.).
• Cloud networking and security experience across AWS, Azure, GCP, and private cloud environments.
• Solid understanding of routing protocols, VPNs, and security architectures.
• Experience integrating third-party security and monitoring tools into SD-WAN ecosystems.
• Excellent documentation skills: HLDs, LLDs, interface specs, and service flow diagrams.
• Strong presentation and stakeholder communication skills; able to influence and instil confidence.
• Demonstrated experience supporting sales/pre-sales cycles with technical insights and solution design.

Good to have: Strong background in network automation using Ansible, Python, Power Automate, GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines
