Your role
We are hiring a AWS Cloud Security Engineer for Bangalore location with 5 to 9 years of experience who will be ensuring secure development and operation of cloud-based applications, systems, and implementations. This role involves managing cloud security solutions, coordinating security services (such as ISA or EPA), and providing support during security incidents. The CSE works closely with development and operations teams to embed security best practices throughout the lifecycle.
- Cloud Security Management
- Implement and maintain cloud security solutions.
- Ensure compliance with security frameworks and standards.
- Coordinate with internal/external security services (ISA, EPA).
- Assist in investigation and resolution of cloud security incidents.
- Provide guidance during incident response activities.
- Work closely with development and operations teams to integrate security into processes.
- Develop scripts and automation workflows to streamline security tasks.
Your profile
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and AWS services.
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices and principles.
- Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., ISO, NIST, CIS).
- Proficiency in AWS services and security configurations.
- Experience with AWS Security Hub (preferred).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python).
- Ability to automate security tasks and processes.
