YOUR ROLE

• Design and release of wire harness components including plastic shields, metal brackets (grommets desirable) to meet routing and retention requirements.
• Design and modification of 3D models in CATIA (3DX and v5) in an assembly context.
• Design 2D engineering and manufacturing drawings per EDS guidelines using Zuken.
• Quality tracking and compliance.
• Design for manufacturing following DFMEA, boundary diagram, clash avoidance and design rules.
• Manage part numbers.
• Manage tooling manufacturing with suppliers to meet requirements.

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Mechatronics engineering or equivalent.
• 3-4 years of relevant experience in design.
• Experience in 3D and 2D design with CATIA v5 and 6
• Experience in communicating with technical stakeholders to collect and clarify requirements.
• Experience with PPAP managing suppliers for automotive products delivery.
• Experience with DFMEA.
• Experience in plastic and metal parts design.
• Experience with PLM SW such as Teamcenter.
• Experience with wire harness parts.
• Experience with automotive 3D and 2D design guidelines
• Advanced level of communication in English.
• Please note that this job will require to travel to CDMX when needed.
