Role Summary
Lead the end-to-end design and delivery of SAP S/4HANA Finance (FICO) solutions, focusing on the Record-to-Report (R2R) value stream, including General Ledger, Close & Consolidation, Fixed Assets, Intercompany, Treasury, and Management Accounting. Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, translating strategy into executable architecture and delivery roadmaps. Drive global programs and APAC rollouts with measurable business outcomes. The role combines deep technical expertise in S/4HANA Finance with leadership in process architecture, governance, and compliance, while also supporting pre-sales activities and solution positioning.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Delivery
- Lead the design and implementation of SAP S/4HANA FTM solutions, including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, and Treasury modules.
- Define the R2R global template and integration patterns with O2C, P2P, Plan‑to‑Produce, and HR/Payroll; ensure data, process, and control design integrity across streams.
- Define end-to-end architecture for finance transformation projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and SAP best practices.
- Establish program governance: design authority, risk/issue management, dependency tracking, release/change control, and quality gates across vendors and internal teams.
- Carve out Transformation journey for clients from legacy systems to S/4 HANA
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate FTM with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, CO) and third-party systems.
- Manage and provide guidance on supplementary activities also like Data Migration, Cutover, Testing etc
Pre-Sales Leadership
- Drive pre-sales engagements by preparing solution proposals, demos, and presentations tailored to client needs.
- Conduct requirement analysis and feasibility studies during RFP/RFI processes.
- Support business development teams in positioning SAP solutions to prospective clients.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them through digital finance transformation journeys.
- Liaise with senior stakeholders to understand strategic objectives and translate them into technical solutions.
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure solutions comply with local and international financial regulations, including IFRS and tax laws.
- Provide guidance on SAP Activate methodology and project governance frameworks.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, IT, or related field.
- 10+ years of SAP experience, with at least 5 years in S/4HANA FTM architecture.
- Proven track record in leading SAP implementations and pre-sales engagements.
- Strong understanding of financial processes and treasury operations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
