You will be joining the AI and Analytics team within Capgemini’s Insights and Data Global Business Unit. We are an extremely talented and passionate team focused on solving customers’ business problems using the latest techniques, methods, and technologies. Our rapidly growing team of visualisation specialists, data scientists, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning engineers seeks to ideate and bring to life what’s next for our clients.

Your Role

We are seeking individuals with a deep expertise in architecting end-to-end (E2E) Microsoft Fabric and Power BI solutions for enterprise scale deployment at client organisations of varying sizes. The role will require you to work as a solutions architect closely with clients starting or maturing their journey with Fabric and Power BI who seek to develop the relevant guardrails and governance, policies and processes that are able to meet the client’s needs and constraints. The role will require you to lead on capturing and understanding the functional and non-functional requirements and design an E2E Fabric and Power BI solution that allow the client to achieve their goals.

The role will require expertise and experience across all interfaces with Fabric / Power BI including but not limited to:

  • Security
  • Data Pipelines and Data Flows (real-time and batch processing)
  • Governance and processes
  • Service Support (including onboarding, troubleshooting etc.)
  • Data Gateways (on-premises and managed)
  • Monitoring, Logging and Alerting (LMA)
  • Continuous artefact (reports, apps, pipelines, dataflows etc.) deployment and continuous integration
  • Visualisation design best practices
  • E2E Automation


What You’ll Do:

  • Solve complex data challenges for large corporate clients across various sectors, designing effective Power BI and Fabric solutions
  • Collaborate with or lead multidisciplinary, agile, and globally distributed teams
  • Strengthen internal capabilities by contributing to the AI & Analytics practice, fostering innovation, and mentoring other team members
  • Support clients in creating scalable, user-centric Business Intelligence (BI) and self-serve AI solutions
  • Support and advise clients on the design and development of dashboards and reports that deliver actionable insights
  • Establish best practices for Fabric and Power BI governance, including workspace setup, security models, and performance optimisation
  • Advise and design solution integrations with Fabric / Power BI and other vendor technologies / services (e.g. SAP, AWS, ITNow, etc.)
  • Support or lead on bid responses and client engagement activities to win new Fabric / Power BI engagements

Your Skills and Experience

  • Strong expertise in Fabric and Power BI, including hands-on experience designing and building dashboards, reports, and data models and / or of workflows of the different
  • Fabric personas (data engineer, data scientist, business analyst etc.)
  • Strong expertise integrating Fabric / Power BI with the Microsoft Office, Power Platform, Azure and other non-Microsoft ecosystems (AWS, SAP, GCP, On-Premises etc.)
  • Experience implementing governance and processes to manage and mitigate the proliferation of Fabric and Power BI usage at enterprise scale
  • Knowledge of implementing Role Based Access Controls (RBAC) and integration with EntraID to manage access both within and outside of an organisation to Fabric
  • Knowledge of security models and RBAC for secure Fabric and Power BI solutions (workspace / Power BI App access, row-level security etc.)
  • Knowledge of the best practices for a variety of use cases connecting to various backend solutions across various vendors and data sources
  • Experience of working with and managing Fabric and Power BI capacities including the licencing implications, cost management and capacity consumption and planning
  • Knowledge of or experience implementing Fabric / Power BI orientated operating models
  • Proficiency in DAX and Power Query
  • Proficiency with Fabric (including Power BI) service administration
  • Ability to lead teams through multiple full-lifecycle Power BI implementations,
  • A strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modelling, and data visualisation best practices
  • Experience integrating Power BI with data lakes (including OneLake), Azure Synapse, and other cloud platforms
  • Experience using and designing for the use of Microsoft Spark and / or Databricks as part of a Fabric deployment
  • Knowledge of the different data architecture and modelling methodologies and their pros and cons
  • Experience in interfacing with senior client stakeholders, translating business needs into data solutions
  • Have a passion and enthusiasm for data-driven insights and storytelling concepts
  • Commercial management experience is advantageous
