Digital Construction Sub-Practice
At Capgemini Engineering, we are strengthening our Digital Construction capability and looking for exceptional people to join our growing team. The Digital Construction Sub-Practice, part of the Capgemini Engineering Digital Continuity Practice, covers the full lifecycle of built infrastructure, from concept and delivery (BIM), through operations and maintenance, to decommissioning and repurposing of assets and facilities. Our mission is to deliver smarter, data-driven, capital infrastructure capability whilst supporting clients in their digital transformation.
To support this mission, we are currently recruiting for three complementary roles:
- BIM Manager – Digital Delivery & Client Leadership
- Senior BIM Engineer – CDE & Client Advisory
- BIM Engineer – Digital Delivery
You will join a team working on high-profile infrastructure and engineering projects, across client portfolios of more than £10bn in assets or investment, contributing to the development and implementation of digital engineering strategies. You will use creative problem-solving skills to formulate, develop, and deliver BIM and digital platform solutions.
If you are passionate about driving innovation in Digital Construction, whether as a strategic leader or a hands-on technical advisor, we’d love to hear from you.
The Digital Construction Roles
These roles sit at the core of our Digital Construction strategy, helping us deliver projects in line with the latest industry standards, while advising and supporting clients on the adoption and implementation of best practices around ISO19650, and integration with enterprise systems:

This role includes interfacing with near-shore and off-shore capabilities, to build capabilities, developing our Digital Construction Centre of Excellence.
- The Senior BIM Engineer role provides hands-on expertise in configuring and optimizing Common Data Environments (CDEs), supporting project teams, and advising clients on the technical implementation of digital processes. This role bridges technical delivery with advisory services, ensuring data flows seamlessly and efficiently across the project lifecycle. This role defines technical and information requirements for our near-shore and off-shore resources to deliver against.
- The BIM Engineer role supports delivery of digital processes, working under the guidance of the Senior BIM Engineer. This role focuses on CDE configuration, BIM data quality checks, and 3D/4D model coordination support, providing an excellent platform to grow skills in BIM, digital delivery, and client-facing advisory capabilities. Working alongside near-shore and off-shore resources, you will be the engineering lynchpin between client need and technical delivery.
Together, these positions strengthen our ability to lead from both a strategic and technical perspective, giving clients confidence that their digital strategies are not only well-designed but also expertly delivered.
