Your Role
We are seeking a skilled Technical Project Manager to support the technical convergence of mechanical components for powertrain projects in the automotive sector. The role ensures full alignment with client standards and the achievement of QCD objectives (Quality, Cost, Delivery).
Key Responsibilities:
- Define project organization, resources, and milestones
- Conduct risk analyses and ensure project convergence
- Manage modifications throughout the project and production lifecycle
- Track progress and ensure alignment with technical and QCD targets
- Prepare deliverables such as commitment sheets, reports, and compliance matrices
- Promote standardization and best practices across teams
- Coordinate cross-functional activities between internal and external stakeholders
- Facilitate meetings, negotiations, and design reviews
- Communicate fluently in English in both written and spoken forms
Your Profile
Technical Knowledge
- Engineering and design of powertrain systems
- Strong understanding of mechanical components and subsystems
- Experience with power electronics
- Mastery of design methods: tolerancing, HCPP, dimension chains
- Familiarity with development and industrialization processes
Project Management & Quality
- Knowledge of Design-to-Quality principles
- Experience with supplier consultations (RFQ/RFI)
- Skilled in problem-solving methodologies: QC Story, Ishikawa, 8D, PDCA, LUP
Soft Skills & Tools
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills
- Proficient in collaborative tools: Office 365, Teams, SharePoint
- Experience working in agile, cross-functional environments
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Proven experience in automotive product or process design
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Fluent in English (French or other European languages are a plus)
