From autonomous cars to life-saving robots, our digital and software technology experts think outside the box as they provide unique R&D and engineering services across all industries. Join us for a career full of opportunities. Where you can make a difference. Where no two days are the same.

Your role

As a Mechanical Engineer specializing in robotics and autonomous systems, you will research, plan, and design mechanical and electromechanical components for cutting-edge unmanned vehicles. You will apply engineering principles to develop innovative solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product implementation. In this role you will play a key role in:

  • Mechanical Design & Development: Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, and requirements to determine design feasibility. Design mechanical and electromechanical products and systems using advanced CAD software. Create models, prototypes, and conduct comprehensive product testing. Apply knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic principles to develop innovative solutions.
  • Systems Integration & Optimization: Design products and systems that effectively interface machines, hardware, and software components. Ensure seamless integration of mechanical components with electrical and control systems. Optimize designs for performance, reliability, and manufacturability. Evaluate field installations and recommend design modifications to eliminate malfunctions.
  • Engineering Analysis & Simulation: Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) simulations to validate designs. Conduct detailed stress analysis calculations using mathematical software like MATLAB and MathCAD. Apply simulation techniques to predict mechanical behavior under various operating conditions. Utilize advanced modeling tools to optimize structural integrity and performance characteristics.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Participate in design reviews and document engineering decisions and rationales. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs conform to production capabilities. Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to optimize product reliability. Work with software and electrical engineering teams to develop integrated robotic systems.

Your profile

  • Good conversational English skills (B2, C1, C2)
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 4-6 years of mechanical engineering experience with strong product design skills using CAD software (SolidWorks, Pro-E, or CATIA).
  • Proven experience with FEA/CAE tools, stress analysis simulations, and mathematical modeling software (MATLAB and MathCAD) for engineering calculations and validations.
  • Proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), with understanding of manufacturing processes and material properties.
  • Familiarity with hydraulic systems, heavy equipment, gearing, motors, and the integration of mechanical components with software and electrical systems.
  • Experience with failure modes and effects analysis, design validation, and requirements documentation in robotics and autonomous systems applications.
