Mission:

Ensure that the project considers the best practices present within the project standards established by the client.
Apply and disseminate the knowledge acquired in the industrialization phase to the concept team to develop new solutions and an increasingly robust and effective design, aligned with the objectives: Best Cost, time, quality and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities:

Design Review Meeting: Interact with concept designers and specialists to give them the best solutions faced in the Industrialization phase.
Mules build Support: Ensure that all specifications are implemented on mule cars and give support on the assemblies.
Compotest/Demo car: Provide and prepare wiring harness for architecture team and packaging to test the layout in a proto vehicle (not functional).
DFA and DFM: Whenever we have innovation, some new technology, the Ind. team is responsible for lead with Manufacture, quality, other engineering and all involved team the inherent risks for the new product.
VO Analysis: Ensure that all proposals for Cost Reduction are being considered in new programs.
Officialization PLM: Create and manage wiring harnesses of the structure vehicle on PLM creating the references for all salable items according to the user case Uploading 2D and 3D models for packaging analysis, quality and after-sales team.
First Piece Signoff: Organize and conduct an audit at the supplier's house, to ensure that the parts are in accordance with the project specifications required on our design standards, avoiding errors and miss assembly of the harnesses in the manufacturing plant.
Supplier
monitoring: Ensure, manage and approve the specifications used to manufacturing the pieces.
Vehicle
& Engine Plant Support: Direct and instant contact in the plant to follow and control issues faced daily with the wiring harnesses on the manufacturing line, being are Ference to bring the issue for all HDSA team, to act promptly with the problem solver related to wiring harness.
Value
Optimization: Support cost reduction activities by checking and validating proposed technical solutions.
Suppliers Support: Supporting the suppliers to act promptly on any activity related to wiring harness, giving them all the information needed to make the modifications as well.
Logbook Issues Solving
: Root cause analysis in case of re-entrant warranty cars / manufacture and identification of interim and/or permanent solution for anomaly resolution.
DCR´s / DFCM
: Manage Layout DCRs (checking DCR detachment board, DCR verification and authorization), Manage DFCM for the Layout or schematics changes needed.
Project Adaptations
: Act quickly to project modifications necessary due to program scope change, adjustments to errors made by suppliers, tests in the development phase and other changes necessary.
Quality Improvements
: Ensure wiring harness quality improvement by supporting quality activities and validating the technical solution.

Requirements:

• Electrical engineer: Student or graduate, with industry experience.
• 3 years of experience: automotive or similar experience with wiring diagrams and electrical drawings. Also, any industrial experience will be cherished.
• Upper-intermediate English level.
• Other languages: Portuguese language is a plus.
