Job Description
Capgemini is looking for a skilled and customer-focused Sernior Desktop Engineer to join our team, supporting one of our valued clients in a dynamic and collaborative environment. This role offers a mix of onsite and remote support, working with a high-performing team to deliver exceptional service and technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first and second-line technical support via phone, email, and in person
- Deliver onsite and remote desktop support, resolving incidents and service requests efficiently
- Investigate, diagnose, and resolve hardware and software issues on end-user devices
- Ensure all support activities are logged and managed within the ITSM system
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through professional and timely support
- Support Windows OS (especially Windows 10), Active Directory, Group Policies, and Exchange
- Troubleshoot enterprise applications including Microsoft Office, Office 365, Skype for Business, and Lync
- Support mobile devices (Apple, Android, Microsoft), VOIP systems, and printers
- Assist with software licensing, configuration management, and encryption tools
- Produce clear documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing
- Collaborate with internal teams and escalate complex issues appropriately
- Ensure compliance with FCA requirements and ITIL processes
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience providing enterprise-level technical support
- Strong troubleshooting skills for desktops, laptops, tablets, and printers
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Windows OS (7, 8.1, 10), and common enterprise tools
- Familiarity with TCP/IP, DHCP, and Microsoft networking environments
- Experience with antivirus software, encryption tools, and Exchange server management
- ITIL v3, MCITP/MCTS, or other relevant technical certifications highly regarded
- Ability to manage multiple demands with professionalism and composure
Remuneration
The salary for this position is advertised at $100,000 to $110,000 per annum, inclusive of superannuation.
