Your role
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Basis Lead Consultant with over 10 years of experience in SAP BASIS to join our large transformation program for utilities client. This is a hands-on role where you will work with cutting-edge SAP technologies, supporting the transition to S/4HANA, and manage critical components such as PO, Open Text, RevTrac, MS Azure, and SAP Cloud services.
As part of this dynamic and innovative environment, you will be responsible for maintaining system health, ensuring smooth operations, and handling incidents. You will also play a vital role in patching, monitoring, and managing upgrades, working closely with the team to deliver effective solutions.
You will play a key role in:
- Provide hands on SAP Basis support and leadership across various platforms including S/4HANA, S/4 Hana ISU, PO, Open Text, RevTrac, MS Azure, and SAP Cloud services.
- Monitor, patch, and manage incidents and system performance for SAP S/4HANA environments both ERP and ISU.
- Manage and execute project upgrades with a focus on SAP system health and optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system integration and technology enablement across both ABAP and JAVA stacks.
- Act as a key technical advisor to the client and internal teams on SAP technology-related topics.
- Ensure strong communication and alignment with clients and be prepared to handle weekend work to support critical timelines.
Your profile
- Minimum 10 years of experience as an SAP Basis Consultant with in-depth knowledge of SAP technologies (ABAP/JAVA Stack).
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, including patching, monitoring, and incident resolution.
- Experience with integration technologies and platforms such as MS Azure, Open Text, and SAP Cloud services.
- Proven experience managing and executing system upgrades.
- Strong customer focus, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Team-oriented and able to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends when necessary.
- Play dual role of hand-on work with the team and lead activities.
