Job Description
The Client & Sales Support Engineer (CSSE) plays a key role in supporting the SE organization through activities that drive customer product feature adoption as well as the lifecycle management of a customer’s fleet of products and solutions. This role also involves communication with clients, customers, and internal stakeholders, including Field SE, Professional Services, Renewals Sales teams, and tools/product development teams.
YOUR ROLE
- Support internal teams and customers with configuration validation, solution design, and technical guidance during pre-sales and post-sales phases.
- Assist in creating sales plays and lifecycle management processes through data collection and analysis.
- Deliver product presentations and consult on hardware/software upgrades to enhance customer systems.
- Participate in account planning and expansion of product portfolios with existing customers.
- Lead simple solution designs and support system configurations, feature adoption, and demos.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction by proactively resolving support cases and providing tailored performance solutions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams like Customer Support, Professional Services, and Order Management.
- Drive technical account management to support implementation and maintain strong client relationships.
YOUR PROFILE
- 1–2 years of experience in the technology industry or a similar field, with strong customer interaction skills and high-volume phone presence.
- Passionate about technology, quick to learn new systems, and able to deliver technical product and architecture presentations.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and data analysis abilities to support customer interactions and decision-making.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently while managing multiple tasks in real-time scenarios.
- Willing to develop consultative selling skills and open to relocation upon promotion; 5–10% overnight travel expected.
- Comfortable using tools like Salesforce.com; knowledge of storage architectures (FC, iSCSI, NAS, etc.), VMware, Windows, UNIX, and network environments is a plus.
- Required presence in Prague office
- English and German language (fluent)
