Capgemini Engineering is seeking an experienced Sales Developer to drive new business with key accounts in the Electronics, Hardware, and Equipment (EHE) sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering innovative, tech-driven engineering services and solutions.

Your role

  • Manage and build strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders in the EHE sector.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with tailored engineering solutions.
  • Develop and implement account strategies to drive revenue and align with client goals.
  • Lead project delivery, ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget adherence.
  • Collaborate with diverse internal teams (sales, engineering, delivery) to deliver seamless client solutions.
  • Stay current on industry trends and competitive landscape to offer innovative solutions.
  • Monitor account performance, manage budgets, and ensure profitability.
  • Act as the voice of the client within Capgemini, advocating for their needs and expectations.

Your skills and experience

  • 7+ years of Business Development experience selling Engineering Services (product engineering) to Technology segment clients.
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience selling engineering services to one or more to Tier One – HiTech Electronics, Hardware and Equipment OEM’s
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Sciences or Engineering
  • Ability to stretch from sales acquisition (hunter) to guiding opportunities through the proposal process and to successful execution.
  • Deep understanding of the global delivery model for an engineering services organization.
  • Experience working with VP, CXO level positions (in Engineering, Product Development, Innovation, etc.).
  • Deep understanding of all engineering services disciplines from hardware, embedded, software, and cloud.
  • Experience leveraging Gen AI and AI/ML for engineering services.
  • Demonstrated experience crafting and selling innovative proposals both from a technical perspective as well as business model perspective.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, including direct experience developing client differentiation and writing core proposal content.
  • Self-motivated, hard-working individual, who can communicate at all levels in an organization and a self-starter.

The base salary range for the tagged location is $135,000 - $268,170 This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees. Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
