Job Description
- The person will be responsible to design, qualify and implement secondary packaging solution, for Lessines products with core responsibility in leading the development, approval, execution, continuous improvement of packaging design within the local and global requirements.
- The incumbent works closely with packing operation, labelling development, Purchasing, Supply to ensure adequate solutions are developed according to regulatory, quality and customer requirement.
- Work with close collaboration with packaging suppliers to ensure that adequate materials are selected and fix the technical specifications.
- Assure timely and effective project completion of assigned tasks according to the project plan and budget.
- Develop and maintain packaging technical specifications to ensure their compliance with changes.
- Support labeling change process by evaluating the impact on packaging material and on the packing operations.
- Ensuring compliance with internal and external international standards for packaging design and validation.
- Drafting protocols and reports to support all packaging design, material qualification and validation activities as required.
- Apply sound engineering problem-solving techniques to packaging development and maintenance tasks including design, analysis, material selection, inspection and packing process requirements.
- Lead and conduct complex technical investigations due to packaging material unconformity
- Serve as technical expert for all aspects of packaging design development and support the implementation.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree with 7 years of related experience in a regulated packaging operations environment.
- Packaging Engineering degree or experience.
- Experience in working in Biopharmaceutical or highly regulated and compliance industry
Experience:
- Complete, in-depth understanding of all aspects of packaging development.
- Experience with Change Management in a GMP environment.
- Knowledge of packaging standard (ISTA 2A, ISTA 7D, ISO 11607…).
Soft Skills:
- Proficiency in negotiations and technical problem solving is required to interact with various departments, divisions, and vendors to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Demonstrated ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects of variable complexity.
