Job Title:
Sr Business Analyst – Virtual Account Management (Corporate Banking)
Job Purpose:
To lead and deliver business analysis efforts on multiple concurrent Virtual Account Management (VAM) initiatives in a corporate banking environment, ensuring the effective translation of business needs into functional and technical solutions. This role requires in-depth industry knowledge, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to manage complex banking projects in parallel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Elicit and document high-quality business and functional requirements.
- Perform system/functional analysis to facilitate the functional requirements document (UR)
- Creation of operational workflows, and use cases diagrams
- Contribute towards the relevant sections of the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM)
- Provide viable solutions that improve operational efficiency, user experience, and delivers business initiatives
- Review and sign-off the artefacts and solutions produced by the technical teams and vendor
- Conduct feasibility assessments and impact analysis across various systems.
- Manage multiple project deliverables concurrently, ensuring alignment and consistency.
- Collaborate with business, technology, and compliance teams to drive solution design.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and issue resolution.
- Provide SIT, UAT, regression testing and rehearsal testing support, to ensure successful implementation of solution
Contributing Responsibilities
- Develop new products jointly with other application/project teams
- Contribute towards the end-to-end solutioning for these new products
- To share expertise by providing training and knowledge sharing sessions
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Information Systems, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience, with Senior roles as a Business Analyst in the banking industry.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in parallel with strong delivery focus.
- Expertise in Virtual Account Management, cash management, and liquidity solutions. Familiar with Virtual Account Management domain is a mandate.
- Familiarity with SWIFT MT940/942, ISO 20022, and treasury operations.
- Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Hands-on experience with data/interface mapping and troubleshooting
- Experience managing test team for SIT/UAT/Performance Test planning, execution and Reporting
- Practice of SDLC and/or Agile Scrum, including but not limited to Demand Mgmt, Change Mgmt & Release Mgmt
