Head of Enterprise Architecture

Do you want to inspire, grow and lead a brilliant team of Enterprise Architecture consultants?

If yes, we are looking for you to join our expanding Capgemini Domains team in Finland as Head of Enterprise Architecture.

Domains is a team of experts within Capgemini who are specialized in designing, planning, and leading digital transformation journeys for our clients. Domains brings the industry expertise that is needed to profoundly understand our client’s current and future business and IT needs and to create value adding solutions. Domains has close to 3000 consultants in Europe. This team is growing and if you join now, you'll be part of building this our Nordic team in the intersection between our Capgemini management consultants and our Capgemini technology delivery teams.

Your future role

In this role you need to be able to understand technology as well as our client’s and Capgemini business to define win-win value adding solutions. You analyse and translate client’s business needs into architecture requirements that cover also process, data and infrastructure. In your role you advise client top executives in making the right choices, participate in pre-sales discussions and create the winning solutions together with our sales team. Key part of your role is growing and leading our Enterprise architecture team and its services and competences to match market needs.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Inspire, grow and lead the Enterprise Architecture team, acting also as a line manager
  • Own strategic development of the Enterprise Architecture team and competence in collaboration and in alignment with local and Nordic leadership and sales
  • Ensure capability to deliver high-quality Enterprise Architecture services by building and developing your team competences and offering
  • Deliver hands-on consulting assignments and projects as a senior Enterprise Architect, including helping clients in shaping business and IT operating models and IT landscape optimization - this is a major part of your role
  • Contribute to sales through presales, delivery-led sales, and solution creation in collaboration with local and global teams
  • Stay informed about emerging industry and technology trends to understand the priorities and drivers in your expertise sector(s) such as Manufacturing, Energy, Logistics, Heavy Industries or Defence

Your expertise

  • Solid experience as a Senior Consultant, Enterprise Architect, or similar senior role bridging business and technology
  • Consultancy background is highly valued
  • Mastery of Enterprise Architecture across application, data, integration, and business domains; relevant EA certifications (e.g. TOGAF)
  • Proven track record of delivering customer commitments on time, within budget, and with tangible value in Enterprise architecture context
  • Experience in people leadership and management, including inspiring and developing consulting teams and their competences; line manager experience preferred
  • Strong ability to understand customer businesses and bottlenecks, and model and streamline customer business and IT
  • Deep business understanding in one or more sectors such as Manufacturing, Energy or Defence
  • Confidence in working with C-level executives and fluency in detailed client discussions
  • Proven track record in growing business, and building concrete value propositions and solutions in consulting business
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, facilitation and presentation skills in Finnish (fluent) and English
  • Demonstrated ability to lead in cross-functional environments with a collaborative, proactive and can-do attitude
