Job Description
- The SAN Storage & Isilon Administrator is responsible for the design, implementation, administration, and support of enterprise-level SAN/NAS storage systems, with a focus on EMC Isilon and Linux environments.
- This role ensures high availability, performance, and security of storage infrastructure supporting business-critical applications.
- Manage and maintain EMC Isilon storage systems using OneFS.
- Configure and administer SAN/NAS environments including NetApp, VNX, and Clariion.
- Provision storage (LUNs, volumes, shares) and manage NFS/CIFS exports.
- Monitor storage performance and capacity; plan for future growth.
- Support Linux-based servers (RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu) in storage integration.
- Troubleshoot storage-related issues in Linux environments.
- Automate storage tasks using shell scripting or Ansible.
- Implement and manage snapshot and replication technologies (SnapshotIQ, SyncIQ).
- Ensure data protection and disaster recovery readiness.
