YOUR ROLE

• Lead and coordinate complex Business and IT projects across all phases: preparation, development, testing, implementation, and transition.
• Define and apply appropriate project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) tailored to project needs and organizational context.
• Utilize industry-standard frameworks such as PMI, PRINCE2 (Waterfall) and Scrum, Kanban, SAFe (Agile) to ensure structured and efficient project execution.
• Oversee project budgets, forecasts, and timelines, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Manage project portfolios, balancing priorities and resources across multiple initiatives.
• Drive scope definition and change management processes to maintain project integrity and stakeholder alignment.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) to foster team collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Engage in full product lifecycle management, including roadmap planning, backlog prioritization, and stakeholder alignment.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
• Provide leadership and coordination for cross-functional and international project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
• Promote transparent communication and a positive team culture, ensuring smooth collaboration between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and clients, ensuring their needs are understood and met.
• Collaborate with pre-sales and sales teams to shape new business opportunities and align project delivery with client expectations.
• Embrace a solution-oriented mindset—focused on finding ways to deliver value rather than reasons for limitations.

YOUR PROFILE

• Minimum 5+ years of proven experience as project manager and / or scrum master
• Knowledge of the project life cycle of software development, project and resource planning
• At least one the certification for waterfall (PMI, Prince 2) and / or agile (Scrum Master, Kanban, SAFe) methodologies
• Prince 2, Scrum Master and SAFe highly preferred
• Familiarity with JIRA, TFS and Confluence tools
• Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation and organizational skills
• Analytical thinking, common sense & empathy
• University degree in IT or business area preferred
• Czech (C2), English (C1)
• German language is an advantage
• Located in Prague or willingness to travel to Prague and near customer sites (up to 100km) 2-3 days a week
• Occasional willingness to travel abroad
