YOUR ROLE

As an Network Security Engineer - Algosec Specialist, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Algosec suite. Working closely with the Algosec Technical Owner, you will contribute to firewall policy management, documentation, process automation, and network security enhancements. Your work will support both infrastructure and business projects, ensuring compliance with security standards and stakeholder requirements.

YOUR TASKS

• Configure, maintain, and optimize the Algosec Suite (including AFA/Fireflow) and support firewall rules management processes across various technologies (Palo Alto, Checkpoint, etc.).
• Enhance firewall network security management and contribute to incident/problem resolution as a 3rd-line support resource.
• Maintain and develop documentation (designs, processes, SOPs), security risk matrix, and zone definitions according to company standards.
• Support business and infrastructure projects, delivering required configurations and documentation in line with SDLC practices.
• Participate in vulnerability assessments and manage upgrades related to firewall security products.
• Drive automation and integration of network activities using APIs and scripting (Python).
• Monitor and manage infrastructure through established configuration and performance management processes.

YOUR PROFILE

• Many years of experience in network security management, including hands-on work with Algosec or similar platforms (e.g. Tufin).
• Strong experience with firewall technologies and policy management (e.g. Palo Alto, Checkpoint).
• Good understanding of network fundamentals: LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS (Infoblox), routing, switching, F5, Cisco ACI, EPG, Arista.
• Proficiency in Python for automation of network tasks.
• Proficiency in English is required
