Your role:
The Technology & Innovation Lead plays a pivotal role in steering and supporting innovation initiatives within Capgemini Engineering. This position encompasses two core missions:
1. Fostering a Culture of Innovation within the Mechanical/Physical Department
- Promote and embed a culture of innovation across the department.
- Identify and assess emerging technological trends relevant to the department’s strategic and operational goals.
- Design and facilitate workshops, events, and training programs to inspire and engage teams in innovative thinking and practices.
2. Oversight of Innovation Projects and Prototype Development
- Lead and coordinate innovation projects from ideation through to implementation.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test prototypes.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders (clients, technology partners, startups, etc.) to ensure alignment and synergy.
- Define and monitor key performance indicators to assess project impact and progress.
- Act as the primary point of contact for aligning innovation initiatives with the company’s strategic objectives.
Your profile:
- Education: Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related fields) or Innovation Management.
- Experience: 8–10 years of experience in innovation project management, ideally within an industrial, technological, or R&D environment.
- Technical Skills: Strong foundation in mechanical engineering (automotive, aerospace, etc.), innovation methodologies, and project management tools.
- Technological Proficiency: Familiarity with technologies such as 3D Printing, Generative AI, Augmented/Virtual Reality, Robotics, Digital Twin, Product Design, and Multiphysics Simulation.
