Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Application Support Engineer to join our team in providing Level 1 and Level 2 support for anti-money laundering (AML) production applications.
This role involves diagnosing and resolving technical issues, deploying software updates, and ensuring the smooth operation and stability of our distributed application environments.
Key Responsibilities:
•Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues
•Implement software updates to maintain system performance and security.
•Ensure consistent application performance across distributed environments.
Qualifications:
•Proficiency in SQL, particularly Oracle SQL, with a solid foundation in data structures and data schemas.
•Competence in using Linux environments for day-to-day operations.
•Familiarity with tools like GIT, Terraform, and Jenkins to support CI/CD practices.
•Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Word for documentation and analysis.
Additional Skills (nice to have):
•Working knowledge of anti-money laundering (AML) processes
•Experience with scripting in Python and Bash.
•Exposure to ETL processes, especially with Apache Airflow.

His/her work requires the exercise of original thought and judgement and the ability to supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers.4. The software engineer builds skills and expertise of his/her software engineering discipline to reach standard software engineer skills expectations for the applicable role, as defined in Professional Communities.5. The software engineer collaborates and acts as team player with other software engineers and stakeholders.
