About the job you’re considering:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating, engineering, automating, and managing the lifecycle of on-premise compute infrastructure. This includes performing gap analysis, recommending feature enhancements, and ensuring operational stability for application service delivery. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams such as Storage, Virtualization, and Networking,

Your Role:
• Actively support efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
• Continuously evaluate and engineer server infrastructure to meet application and service requirements.
• Contribute to architectural discussions to ensure alignment with business and operational needs.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to identify challenges and recommend solutions.
• Automate compute certification, bare metal provisioning, and domain-specific workflows.
• Create and maintain documentation: certifications, implementation guides, design documents, and bulletins.
• Define and enforce standards for infrastructure deployment and integration.
• Support and maintain lab infrastructure using ticketing and scheduling systems.
• Manage multiple priorities and contribute to process refinement and improvement.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.

Your skills and experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Extensive experience in data center infrastructure: rack/blade servers, virtualization, SAN, networking, and cloud platforms.
• Hands-on experience with composable infrastructure (e.g., Liqid, GigaIO).
• Advanced knowledge of: Cisco UCS-X, UCS-C, UCS Central, Intersight; Dell R Series, Dell OME; HPE ProLiant, HP OneView; MaaS platforms and automated deployment; Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration; Workflow orchestration and automation tools.
• Proficiency in scripting: BASH, Python, JavaScript, Ansible, Terraform, Redfish.
• Experience with infrastructure QA automation using Robot Framework.
• Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and alerting tools.
• Skilled in creating technical schematics using Lucidchart or Visio.
• Experience working in SAFe/Agile environments with Jira Portfolio/Jira Align.
• Familiarity with TestRail and CMP service catalog creation.

• Cisco Certified Network Professional – Data Center (CCNP)
• Linux Foundation Certified Engineer (LFCE)
• VMware Certified Professional – Data Center Virtualization (VCP-DCV)
