Role: Informatica/Java/Kafka Support Engineer
Experience: 3+ years
Location: Any state in Mexico
Responsibilities:
· Provide L2/L3 support for applications using Informatica, Java, and Kafka.
· Troubleshoot and resolve ETL jobs, Kafka streaming issues, and Java application errors.
· Monitor and maintain Kafka clusters, ensuring data streaming efficiency and stability.
· Support Informatica PowerCenter workflows, debugging failures and optimizing performance.
· Work on incident management, change requests, and root cause analysis.
· Collaborate with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams for seamless operations.
· Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of data integration and streaming processes.
Required Skills:
· Strong expertise in Informatica PowerCenter (ETL, workflow development, troubleshooting).
· Proficiency in Java for debugging and supporting backend applications.
· Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka (topic creation, performance tuning, monitoring).
· Good knowledge of SQL and database optimization (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.).
· Familiarity with Linux/Unix commands and scripting (Shell, Python, etc.).
· Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in production support.
