Job Description
- 4+ years experience in designing, implementing, and managing Storage Administration SAN (Storage Area Network) and NAS (Network Attached Storage) solutions.
- Monitor storage performance and capacity, and proactively address potential issues.
- Administer and maintain enterprise storage systems (e.g., NetApp, EMC, Pure Storage, HPE 3PAR).
- Perform regular backups, data replication, and disaster recovery testing.
- Proficiency in storage zoning, LUN provisioning, and replication technologies
- Provide L3/L4 support for complex storage issues, including root cause analysis and permanent fixes.
- Deep knowledge of SAN/NAS technologies and protocols (iSCSI, FC, NFS, CIFS)
- Experience with enterprise storage platforms (NetApp, EMC, Pure Storage, HPE, IBM)
- Deploy and install SAN, NAS, and DAS storage systems from vendors like Dell EMC, NetApp, HPE, IBM, etc.
- Configure storage protocols (Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NFS, CIFS/SMB).
- Monitor storage health, capacity, and performance using tools like SolarWinds, NetApp ONTAP, or vendor-specific dashboards.
Primary skills
- 4+ years experience in designing, implementing, and managing Storage Administration SAN (Storage Area Network) and NAS (Network Attached Storage) solutions.
- Monitor storage performance and capacity, and proactively address potential issues.
- Administer and maintain enterprise storage systems (e.g., NetApp, EMC, Pure Storage, HPE 3PAR).
- Configure storage protocols (Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NFS, CIFS/SMB).
Secondary skills
- Strong understanding of backup and disaster recovery strategies
- Scripting experience in PowerShell, Bash, or Python
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and enterprise monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios)
