Job Title: Teamcenter Data Migration Lead

Job Location: Remote (Anywhere across USA)

About the job you’re considering

We are looking for an experienced Teamcenter Data Migration Lead to join our dynamic team.

Your role

  • Data Migration Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive migration strategies and plans to transition data from legacy PLM systems to Teamcenter.
  • System Analysis: Analyze existing PLM systems to understand data structures, workflows, and dependencies, ensuring all critical data is accurately migrated.
  • Data Mapping and Transformation: Define and implement data mapping and transformation rules to ensure compatibility and integrity during migration.
  • Project Management: Manage migration projects, including timelines, resource allocation, risk assessment, and progress tracking.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with IT, engineering, and business teams to align migration efforts with organizational goals and requirements.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous testing and validation to confirm data accuracy and completeness post-migration.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of migration processes, methodologies, and outcomes for future reference and audit purposes.
  • User Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders on Teamcenter functionalities and data management.

Your skills and experience

  • 12 years of overall experience and 6-8 years of experience with Teamcenter data migration projects is required
  • Experience in developing Teamcenter data migration utilities
  • Defining data migration strategy
  • Experience with Teamcenter data migration/site consolidation effort with mapping translation
  • Experience in creating data migration plan, mapping specification document and migration project schedule
  • Hands on experience in developing scripts to convert source files into TCXML format for import into Teamcenter
