Job Description
We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead and manage SAP implementation, migration, and enhancement projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP ERP modules (e.g., S/4HANA, ECC, SAP BW, SAP SAC, SAP BPC, etc.), project lifecycle management, and cross-functional coordination. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to ensure successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Leadership & Execution
- Lead end-to-end SAP project workstreams (implementation, upgrade, migration, or enhancement).
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
- Ensure SAP solutions align with business needs, IT strategy, and industry best practices.
- Manage project schedules, milestones, budgets, and resources to meet business objectives.
2. Stakeholder & Team Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, SAP consultants, and IT teams.
- Conduct steering committee meetings, status updates, and project reviews.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure smooth collaboration with SAP partners.
3. SAP Functional & Technical Oversight
- Work closely with SAP functional and technical teams to ensure system configurations meet business needs.
- Address SAP module-specific challenges (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, HR, Manufacturing, etc.).
- Ensure SAP solutions integrate seamlessly with other enterprise applications (e.g., CRM, BI, Analytics).
4. Risk & Issue Management
- Identify potential risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project performance and resolve bottlenecks efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
5. Change Management & Training
- Develop and implement SAP user training, documentation, and knowledge transfer programs.
- Drive business process transformation and change management initiatives.
- Ensure smooth transition to SAP operations post-go-live.
