Job Description
We are looking for Business Analyst with solid background as a Collections BA or Senior BA in enterprise organisations.
In this role you will play a key role in:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements.
- Analyze existing collections and hardship processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and automation.
- Translate regulatory requirements into actionable business and system requirements.
- Work closely with strategy, operations, risk, and compliance teams to ensure alignment of initiatives.
- Support the design and implementation of customer-centric solutions that balance recovery goals with fair treatment of customers.
- Conduct impact assessments for regulatory changes and support implementation planning.
- Develop and maintain documentation including business requirements, process flows, and user stories.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and working groups to gather insights and validate solutions.
- Provide SME input into system enhancements, data analysis, and reporting needs.
Your Profile
- A solid background as a BA or Senior BA in enterprise organisations.
- Mandatory experience in banking, specifically in collections and hardship management.
- Strong understanding of collections strategies, hardship programs, and customer treatment frameworks.
- Solid knowledge of regulatory requirements in the collections and financial hardship space (e.g., ASIC, APRA, NCCP).
- Proven experience in business analysis, including requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to work across cross-functional teams and influence decision-making.
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or similar.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
