Context of the role
Capgemini is seeking a dynamic, client centric marketing leader for a Head of Marketing and Communications role in Japan. We’re looking for an experienced business partner who has a proven record in building brand equity and growing marketshare.
The priorities for the Japan M&C lead are to elevate the Capgemini brand locally and build intimacy with clients and talent to support our growth ambition. The M&C lead will lead the Marketing & Communications team in its next phase of growth, mobilising global assets, resources and campaigns according to our Japan priorities.
This role reports to the APAC M&C CMO and be a key member of the Japan Country Board and the APAC M&C leadership team.
About you
As a strategic marketer, you are always proposing new ideas and finding innovative ways to engage with clients, prospects, potential recruits and colleagues. With a customer centric approach, you can build and deliver the appropriate marketing mix from brand building and positioning to account-based marketing. You will leverage and localise thought leadership, industry campaigns and capability content to share the Capgemini story in Japan across diverse channels. You are also the enabler of Capgemini people promise, driving the appropriate Employer brand and internal communications strategies.
Roles and responsibilities
· Design and implement yearly Marketing and communications strategy, budget, plans and calendar and participate in APAC M&C integrated planning and reviews
· Lead and manage the local M&C team
· Work closely with client partners to drive account-based marketing campaigns and relationship marketing programs
· Work with the Alliances team to design and deliver joint Go to Market programs with strategic partners
· Work closely with the HR team including the Employee Engagement Leader and Talent Acquisition Leader on the Talent Brand initiatives
· Promote Capgemini content, experiences and values as part of creating a consistent story for Capgemini in the market
· Track and report on M&C results and business impact
Experience and qualifications
· Strategic Marketing Leadership with more than 10 years experience in leading, mentoring and managing marketing teams
· Customer Experience management especially in B2B marketing with CxO’s of large enterprises across multiple industries
· Proven collaborative experience both internally with Business Heads as well as externally with partners and clients
· Industry knowledge in Consulting and technology and a keen interest in emerging trends
· Strong communication skills
· Proven experience working in a matrix environment ideally for a multi-national company
· Highly collaborative, proactive and innovative in the ways of working
· Fluent in English
