Your Role

As a Guidewire Functional Lead, you will drive the functional design and delivery of Guidewire InsuranceSuite implementations (Guidewire ClaimsCenter or PolicyCenter or BillingCenter). This role involves working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and delivery partners to ensure that business requirements are accurately translated into scalable and effective Guidewire solutions.

This is a full-time role that will be based in North America, across any of the following locations –
  • Chicago, IL
  • New York, NY
  • Atlanta, GA
  • Hartford, CT
  • San Antonio, TX
  • Columbus, OH
You will play key role in:
  • Leading functional workstreams across Guidewire modules (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimsCenter).
  • Gathering and analyzing business requirements and translating them into functional specifications.
  • Collaborating with configuration and integration teams to ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions.
  • Facilitating workshops and conducting gap analysis, impact assessments, and solution walkthroughs.
  • Creating and reviewing functional design documents, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Supporting testing efforts by validating functional requirements and assisting with UAT.
  • Providing subject matter expertise in Property & Casualty insurance processes and Guidewire best practices.
  • Mentoring junior functional analysts and coordinating with offshore teams
Your Profile
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information technology, or related field.
  • Must have extensive specialist experience in Guidewire ClaimsCentre, PolicyCentre or BillingCentre
  • Proven experience in Property & Casualty insurance domain
  • Strong understanding of Guidewire business processes, data models, and configuration capabilities.
  • Proven experience in requirements gathering, functional design, and solution validation.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
  • Experience in large-scale Guidewire transformation programs.
  • Exposure to digital portals, cloud deployments, or third-party integrations.
