Your Role

As a Guidewire Architect, you will lead the design and implementation of Guidewire Insurance Suite solutions (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter). The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in Guidewire platforms, strong architectural design skills, and a passion for delivering scalable, high-performance insurance solutions.

This is a full-time role that will be based in North America, across any of the following locations –

  • Columbus, OH
You will play key role in:
  • Leading the architecture, designing, and implementing Guidewire Insurance Suite modules.
  • Defining and enforcing best practices for Guidewire development, integration, and deployment.
  • Collaborating with business stakeholders, product owners, and development teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Providing technical leadership and mentorship to Guidewire developers and integration teams.
  • Designing and implementing integration strategies with third-party systems (e.g., CRM, payment gateways, document management).
  • Ensuring compliance with enterprise architecture standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conducting code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of Guidewire applications.
  • Staying current with Guidewire product updates, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
Your Profile
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information technology, or related field.
  • Strong Configuration or Integration skills (v7.0 or above)
  • Desired areas of technical/functional expertise include GOSU PCF XML Product Model Activity Assignments Forms Inference.
  • Must have extensive specialist experience in Guidewire ClaimsCentre, PolicyCentre or BillingCentre
  • Proven experience in Property & Casualty insurance domain
  • Proven experience in designing scalable, secure, and high-performance Guidewire solutions.
  • Strong understanding of the Guidewire platform (UI Data Model Studio etc.)
  • Sound knowledge of modern software architectures design patterns and development techniques.
  • Application of structured software development techniques including requirements analysis functional decomposition modeling prototyping functional design estimating and testing Knowledge in at least one Software Configuration Management tool like SVN CVS etc.
  • Working knowledge of one or more SDLC methodologies Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
