YOUR TASKS
- Infrastructure Management – design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure within Azure, including IaaS and PaaS offerings.
- Automation – develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate provisioning and management of Azure resources.
- Monitoring and Optimization – implement and maintain monitoring solutions (e.g., Azure Monitor) to track system health, performance, and resource utilization.
- Incident Response – respond to incidents, identify root causes, and deploy fixes to resolve issues.
- Collaboration – work with cross-functional teams (Dev, Ops, etc.) to improve systems, processes, and overall service reliability.
- Performance Tuning – identify and implement solutions to optimize cloud resource performance and cost efficiency.
- Security – design and implement secure cloud environments, following best practices and security frameworks.
- Documentation and Training – document procedures, policies, and best practices, and potentially mentor junior engineers.
YOUR PROFILE
You need to have:
- Experience in large scale IT environments.
- Experience working with Azure Cloud technologies (nice to have other e.g. AWS and/or GCP) Experience in provisioning automation and configuration (e.g. Puppet, Ansible, Chef, OpenStack).
- Experience with version control tools (e.g. GitHub, Bitbucket, GitLab) CI/CD tools (e.g. Bamboo, Jenkins).
- Proficiency in at least one of scripting language (e.g. Python, Bash, Perl, PowerShell etc.).
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure and security concepts (e.g. Terraform, Biceps, etc.)
Nice to have (not required)
- Experience in provisioning automation and configuration using minimum 1 of following: Puppet, Ansible, Chef, OpenStack Container management, development (Docker, Kubernetes)
