As a Sales Manager / Client Partner, you will market and position Capgemini and its entire portfolio in the market, ensuring its development among existing and new clients in the Retail, Energy or Distribution industry. With your understanding of market requirements, customer needs, and competitive situations, you will ensure successful account alignment. This involves questioning account and sales strategies, engaging networks at decision-making levels, and utilizing sales competencies to successfully close deals.
YOUR TASKS:
• evaluate and prioritize/qualify sales opportunities.
• manage, coach, and challenge teams in sales-related tasks.
• utilize your experience to successfully close deals, including actively demanding all available group assets when necessary.
• implement and develop the portfolio (clients and offerings).
• manage the sales funnel regarding volume, qualification, and forecast.
• build and maintain strong client relationships, including meeting with clients onsite, primarily in Germany.
• conduct client presentations to showcase our offerings and solutions.
YOUR PROFILE:
• minimum of 5 years experience as a Sales Manager, Sales Director, Account Manager, or in similar positions.
• ability to build and develop trustworthy relationships at all levels (business units and IT).
• understanding of how to orchestrate and convey the capabilities of an international service provider.
• strong results orientation and strategic focus.
• fluent in German and English, with readiness for frequent business trips.
• proven track record in successfully closing deals and utilizing group assets.
• experience in managing and developing sales teams.
NICE TO HAVE:
• experience in the Energy Transition & Utilities sector.
• existing network of contacts and references from successful energy sector projects.
