Key Responsibilities:

Exercise overall responsibility for the successful delivery of the programme/project to plan, budget, and agreed quality and governance standards.

Manage the lead supplier in line with agreed contractual obligations, milestones, and quality standards.

Provide day-to-day direction to the project team and manage a budget ranging from £0.25 to £5 million (pre-cap).

Work with the Technology Partner/Programme Manager to deliver effective communications and manage relationships with key stakeholders at executive and direct report levels across the project client base and technical community.

Own and drive the project planning framework, ensuring plans are:

Developed and tracked to appropriate standards.

Integrated effectively across all work-streams.

Unambiguous and achievable.

Clearly managing dependencies.

Own and drive effective project governance via the Project Management Office, ensuring:

Compliance with technical, risk, and other standards.

A comprehensive and embedded governance framework.

Manage and coordinate projects, their interdependencies, and associated risks and issues, escalating to the Technology Partner/Programme Manager as needed.

Control project scope through rigorous change control processes.

Essential Skills:

Provide effective change management and project management expertise to assigned change projects.

Possess strong knowledge of change management methods and tools, particularly the Change Management method and toolkit.

Demonstrate understanding and application of the Change Management/Project Management method and toolkit.

Understand the interface between complex business needs and the legal/regulatory environment in which the business operates.

Experience in the banking sector.
