We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Engagement/Program Manager with strong background in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) for managing projects in Aerospace and Defense Industry. Our primary goal is to achieve high performance for all our projects and to deliver outstanding customer happiness. Scope includes program management for projects in PLM for one or more A & D projects. This position is part of Capgemini Engineering North America Delivery Organization and would report to Delivery Executive/Head of A & D delivery unit, aligned to Digital continuity and Manufacturing engineering practice.

Your Role

  • Lead and manage a portfolio of PLM projects, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.

  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, IT, and business team members to define project objectives and requirements.

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, achievements, and prioritization.

  • Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure successful outcomes.

  • Provide leadership and direction to multi-functional teams, encouraging a collaborative and high-performance culture.

  • Maintain consistent communication with collaborators, offering regular updates on project status, risks, and changes.

  • Ensure all projects meet quality standards and align with industry regulations and standard processes.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve PLM efficiency and effectiveness.

Your Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field (Master’s or equivalent preferred).

  • Proven experience of at least 15 years in program management with a focus on PLM projects.

  • Experience in an engineering consultancy or Aircraft OEM environment is highly desirable.

  • Strong expertise in PLM systems such as Teamcenter, Windchill, or Enovia.

  • Experience with PLM-ERP integration (ex SAP) is a plus.

  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).

  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical collaborators.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in aerospace, automotive, or manufacturing industries.

  • Familiarity with digital transformation and Industry 4.0 initiatives.

  • Knowledge of PLM data migration, integration, and data management processes.

  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred.

Compliance & Security

  • Export Control/ITAR Compliance: Ensure all project activities align with applicable export control laws and ITAR regulations.
  • Security Clearance: Ability to acquire and maintain a security clearance as required.
