Job Description

As a Project Engineer, you are responsible for the procurement, installation, and commissioning of pharmaceutical packaging machines to enable our continued growth.

Therefore, the tasks listed below are typical for the Project Engineer Serialisation/End-of-Line, but the ultimate result of the team is paramount.

  • Executing packaging projects with an emphasis on the section from carton printing to automatic palletization, including automation and integration with higher-level systems, from the start of the project to the handover to production.
    This includes: writing specifications, evaluating supplier offers, following up with suppliers after ordering, testing machines according to predefined protocols, ensuring a smooth start-up, supporting production during the first months, and performing the documented handover to production and maintenance.
  • Reporting to the Lead Engineer Serialisation/End-of-Line.
    For larger projects, you work in a matrix structure under the leadership of a Project Lead. For smaller projects, you act as the project leader.
  • Close collaboration with other departments of CSP, namely Production, Packaging Design, and Maintenance, as well as the Components Group and the Quality Department.

Your Profile

  • Master's degree in Industrial Sciences, (Bio)Engineering Sciences
  • You work in an organized and accurate manner.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to influence without hierarchical authority.
  • Strong communication skills – open communication is essential.
  • Flexible with working hours during periods when machines need to be tested at suppliers and during the start-up of machines.

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of measurement and control technology and vision technology.
  • Experience in a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) environment.
  • Experience with automation (SCADA, PLC, etc.).
