YOUR ROLE

• Proficient in Android (Kotlin/Java) as the primary development platform, with a strong understanding of mobile architecture and best practices.
• Collaborate with backend teams to design and integrate scalable, high-performance features for mobile applications.
• Ensure superior code quality by enforcing best practices, conducting code reviews, and maintaining clean, maintainable code.
• Implement and advocate for automation testing strategies to enhance code reliability and reduce regression issues.
• Proficient in Jira, Git, GitHub Actions, and other development tools to streamline development workflows and CI/CD processes.
• Oversee the mobile app release cycle, ensuring smooth deployment and adherence to release schedules.
• Guide and mentor, a team of developers and testers, fostering a culture of learning, innovation, and collaboration.
• Work closely with the Product Manager to understand business needs, refine requirements, and align development with the product roadmap.
• Educate stakeholders by providing clear technical insights, enabling informed decision-making on product features, timelines, and trade-offs.
• Define and drive the mobile technical roadmap, stay updated with industry trends, and optimize development processes for efficiency.

YOUR PROFILE

• 8+ Years of related experience as an Android Technical Lead or similar roles.
• Proven experience as an Android Developer.
• Proficiency in Java and Kotlin, with a deep understanding of their ecosystems.
• Experience with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
• Knowledge of the Android architecture components, MVVM, and other design patterns.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
• Excellent communication in English.
• Experience with Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
