Key Responsibilities
Project Management:
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of telecom projects including network upgrades, infrastructure deployment, and digital transformation initiatives.
Ensure that project goals and objectives specific to the telecommunications industry are met within the stipulated time and budget.
Implement best practices and methodologies tailored to the telco sector.
Client Relationship Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their specific needs and ensure satisfaction.
Address any issues or concerns raised by clients promptly, particularly those related to telecom services and solutions.
Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and manage cross-functional delivery teams, including network engineers, software developers, and business analysts, to ensure high performance.
Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
Provide guidance and support to team members as needed, with a focus on telco industry standards and practices.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure that all telecom deliverables meet the required quality and regulatory standards.
Implement quality control processes and conduct regular reviews specific to telecommunications projects.
Address any quality issues promptly and effectively.
Financial Management:
Manage project budgets and ensure financial targets are met.
Monitor and control costs to maximize profitability.
Prepare financial reports and forecasts for senior management, with a focus on telecom projects.
Risk Management:
Identify potential risks specific to telecom projects and develop mitigation strategies.
Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure compliance with all relevant telecommunications regulations and policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, IT or similar
- Extensive experience in project management and delivery within the telecommunications industry at a global scale
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver high-quality services in the telco sector.
- Proficiency in telecommunications project management tools and methodologies.
- PMP or other relevant certifications are a plus.
- Fluent in English, Finnish is preferred
