YOUR ROLE

As Connectivity Engineer at Capgemini Engineering, you will work on complex digital transformation projects within the IT/OT domain for leading clients across industries such as Life Sciences, Food & Beverage, Manufacturing, and Energy. You will drive integration between production systems and new digital solutions to create smarter, more connected industries.

Your responsibilities are:

  • Act as a system integrator by installing, configuring, and connecting brownfield equipment to modern networks.

  • Advise clients on IT/OT integration strategies and implement solutions for machine data acquisition.

  • Collaborate with clients and vendors to map current factory setups and design connection strategies.

  • Apply and explore advanced technologies like IIoT, Edge computing, and AI within industrial environments.

  • Travel internationally when needed to client production sites to support project delivery and rollouts.

YOUR PROFILE

You are a technology-driven consultant who enjoys bridging the worlds of industrial automation and modern digital technologies.

You have:

  • Experience with integrating Level 1-2 and 3 systems such as KEPware and Historians.

  • Strong knowledge of PLC/SCADA systems and communication protocols like Modbus, OPC-UA, and MQTT.

  • Good understanding of LAN network infrastructures within manufacturing environments.

  • Educational background in Industrial Automation, Electrical Engineering, or Data Science in the industrial sector.

  • Passion for continuous innovation and working within interdisciplinary, international project teams.
