YOUR ROLE

As a SCADA Technical Specialist at Capgemini Engineering, you will play a crucial role in supporting the energy industry, especially as more and more investments are made in green energy sources. These investments pose new challenges for grid management, but Capgemini Engineering is at the forefront of providing expertise in SCADA and Energy Management Systems (EMS). With a team of around 60 professionals, we help clients across the Energy, Life Science, High Tech, and Manufacturing industries drive innovation and overcome these challenges.

In this role, you will:

• Configure and maintain On-premise and cloud-based SCADA systems to meet specific requirements, including change management systems such as AspenTech/OSI Monarch.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SCADA systems seamlessly with EMS and other industry-specific platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SCADA systems, ensuring continuous operation and performance.
• Design and implement system enhancements and upgrades for SCADA and other systems to improve functionality.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users, ensuring effective adoption and efficient system use.

YOUR PROFILE

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience configuring and maintaining On-Premise and cloud-based SCADA systems with a deep understanding of SCADA and domain principles
• Strong knowledge of SCADA, EMS, DCS, and network protocols like ISA-88, ISA-95, IEC60870-5-101 and 104, IEC61850, C37.118, OPC UA, MQTT, or Kafka.
• A strong understanding of the energy sector and the challenges posed by increasing integration of green energy sources into the grid.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse teams.
• The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
