The Role
As an OSS/BSS Transformation Expert Architect you will be responsible for driving the end-to-end solutions for telecom service providers, focusing on transforming their OSS (Operations Support Systems) and BSS (Business Support Systems). This role requires deep technical expertise and strategic vision to deliver scalable, efficient, and innovative solutions that align with business objectives and emerging telecom trends. Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Architecture & Design: Develop comprehensive OSS/BSS transformation architectures; define integration strategies; recommend tools and technologies.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Align transformation goals with business objectives; lead workshops and design reviews; bridge business and technical teams.
- Program Execution: Oversee project design and implementation; ensure timely, budget-friendly delivery; monitor risks and dependencies.
- Technology Expertise: Stay updated on telecom technologies; guide teams in adopting modern architectures.
- Process Optimization: Identify system gaps; propose efficient processes; leverage industry frameworks.
- Governance & Compliance: Ensure architectural governance; align with regulatory requirements; define KPIs and SLAs.
- Innovation & Strategy: Define OSS/BSS evolution roadmaps; recommend cost-reduction and customer experience improvement strategies.
Your profile
- Years of Experience: 12+ years in telecom domain, with at least 5 years in OSS/BSS transformation projects.
- Industry Exposure: Experience working with Tier-1/Tier-2 telecom operators or vendors.
- Technical Expertise: Extensive OSS/BSS experience; strong knowledge of telecom protocols and standards; proficiency in integration patterns.
- Architecture Skills: Ability to design scalable architectures; experience with cloud-native solutions; proficiency in architectural tools.
- Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership; excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to manage conflicts.
- Business Acumen: Understanding of telecom business models; ability to link technical solutions to business outcomes; experience in preparing business cases.
- Education & Certification: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in relevant fields; certifications like TM Forum, TOGAF, AWS/Azure, ITIL.
- You will be required to pass through SC Security Clearance if you are successful in this recruitment process, which is a condition of undertaking the role
