Role Overview
DELIVERY
In this role you will lead and implement consulting projects on strategic and operational issues in the area of Smart Plants and sustainable operational excellence, bringing together the cross-functional expertise of the Capgemini group (technology experts, architects, data scientists, designers, etc.).
- You will lead the advising of our clients with regards to e.g., production and maintenance improvements, based on the latest digital technologies and existing technology landscape.
- You will manage and guide teams of consultants on projects/programs, ensuring quality and on-time delivery.
- You will develop and implement smart plant strategies to increase efficiency along the entire value chain, and support in shaping Smart Plant projects/offers for clients across industries, according to their specific needs.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
You will work together with Capgemini industry leads to co-develop part of the business for manufacturing and process industry, with a focus on Smart Plant topics. You are able to position Smart Plant topics with CxO stakeholders and contribute to expansion of business at existing clients, as well as the acquisition of new accounts.
DRIVING INNOVATION
- You keep up to date with current economic and legal megatrends related to smart plant/factory and process manufacturing and you understand their impacts on our customers’ business models.
- You provide your expert knowledge in one or more particular Smart Plant areas (e.g. MES, Connected Worker, IoT…), and leverage this for both client work and expanding the knowledge base of our Intelligent Industry practice. This can contribute to the visibility of the Invent brand through publications (blogs, posts, etc.) and association events.
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
As a talent leader, with your leadership acumen and Smart Plant knowledge, you support the growth of a sub-capability of Smart Plant consultants, shaping training paths and providing opportunities for upskilling.
Required Skills
- Successfully completed a master’s degree or higher in engineering, economics, information science or natural sciences with an interest in economic contexts.
- You have more than 8 years of relevant professional experience in a manufacturing industry, and at least 5 years of this in consulting or at an analyst firm.
- You are familiar with tackling strategic business & IT/OT challenges in the context of consulting projects and have successfully managed or led such initiatives.
- You enjoy complex questions as well as conceptual and analytical thinking.
- Combination of fluency in two of the three main languages: 1) English 2)Dutch 3) French
- You value and promote good teamwork, leading by example
- You use your excellent presentation and communication skills in an international environment (English/Dutch/French)
- Your commitment to the task, your creativity and your resilience in challenging situations round off your qualifications.
